9 a.m. Splash of Color 5K Fun Run
Register today to join the color run craze and get in on the blue, gold, pink and orange action! For more info, click here. Runner check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.

10 a.m. WSU Men's Soccer vs. Salem State University
Cheer on the WSU men's soccer team as they take on the Salem State Vikings! 

Noon     #reWOOnion2015 Tailgate Section Opens
Remember to bring backyard lawn games to enjoy! The Alumni Office is providing a photo booth just for us!

12:30 p.m.  Barbecue begins
Barbecue features hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, potato salad, coleslaw, pickles, chips, cookies, soda and water. You are invited to BYOB, however, all tailgate policies do apply to our reunion.

2 p.m. Homecoming Football Game
Cheer the Lancers on to victory as they take on Western Connecticut State University.

Overnight Accommodations

Alumni are invited to reserve overnight accommodations at the Hilton Garden Inn at a reduced rate by mentioning "Worcester State University" when booking your room. To reserve your room, call 508-753-5700.  

Leaving a Legacy...

We, the reunion committee, are asking our classmates to support the 2015 Gene J. DeFeudis Wellness Center Challenge. This challenge, put forth by one of Worcester State's strongest supporters, is encouraging alumni to make a donation in support of the Wellness Center by matching all gifts made between now and December 31st dollar for dollar! Design Requirements

 

• Designs must include the event title "Backyard Games & Barbecue Reunion"
• Designs must include the event date
• Designs must be tasteful
• Designs must be one color for the purpose of printing on t-shirts
• By submitting a design, the artist agrees to forfeit all rights to the design
• The artist must be a Worcester State alumnus from the classes of 2010 - 2015
• Artists may submit up to three (3) designs

 

Contest Timeline

 

• Entries are due to the Alumni Office by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015.
• The Reunion Committee will narrow the choices down to the top three designs.
• The top three designs will be emailed to all alumni from the classes of 2010 - 2015 for a vote.
• Voting will close on Friday, September 11, 2015. 
• The winning design will be unveiled when you pick up your t-shirt at our reunion! 

The contest winner will receive a guaranteed parking space in the designated Reunion Tailgate Area during Homecoming! If the contest winner is unable to attend the Reunion, a t-shirt will be mailed to the winner.
