What is the Splash of Color?
The Splash of Color 5K is an unforgettable, fun experience and a non-competitive run/walk! Heck, you could even crawl, skip or roll if it seems like more fun!
The Splash of Color feels like a very colorful walk with your best friends and neighbors! At the start, you'll be wearing a white t-shirt and by the end of the run, you're COVERED in a Splash of Color!
You'll experience four different Splashes of Color along the route including blue, yellow, pink and orange. If you're in the mood to dance at the finish line, feel free! We'll have a DJ ready to help you cross the finish line and keep the energy going!
At the end of the event you'll experience a huge Splash of Color Party that will feel a lot like being in a bag of skittles! Watch for new Color Cannon photo shots too!
Splash of Color 5K events are about three things: fun, fitness, and the excitement of crossing the finish line covered in bright colors. Expect a lot of laughs and some one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
This event will be held rain or shine!

Is this a fundraiser fun run?
We're so glad you asked! Yes, a portion of the proceeds from the Splash of Color 5K will benefit the Gene J. DeFeudis $250,000 Wellness Center Challenge.
When Worcester State raises $250,000 in support of the Wellness Center by December 31, 2015, Mr. DeFeudis will generously match those efforts with a gift of $250,000. Worcester State is committed to ensuring our students have the best in athletic and wellness facilities and we ask you to join Mr. DeFeudis in extending the impact of your mutual gifts.
When you register for the run, you'll have an opportunity to make a gift and to set up a fundraising page to encourage your friends and family to support this exciting and important endeavor.
