At Worcester State University, we take pride in your personal and professional achievements following graduation. We know that you worked hard for your degree—both in and out of the classroom—and we are committed to helping you maintain your deep ties to WSU throughout your lifetime. We offer a mix of programming, engagement, and leadership opportunities that will help you stay connected to your alma mater.

  • Worcester State Alumni Association. You automatically become a member of the Worcester State Alumni Association as a graduating senior. The association keeps you informed about all things Worcester State. As a member, you can take advantage of special benefits and services offered to alumni.
  • Networking Opportunities. Our alumni base of more than 35,000 is an economic, social, and civic force in the New England region and beyond—65% live in Massachusetts, including 51% in Worcester County. To help you leverage the Worcester State University alumni network, we host programs like business-focused after-hours gatherings, reunions, homecoming festivities, and the Scholarship Tea.
  • Alumni Chapter Events. You also can join us for events in regions with high concentrations of Worcester State alumni like Cape Cod, Florida, New York, and North Carolina. We host gatherings at local venues and the homes of gracious alumni.

If you are eager to give back and support the next generation at Worcester State, we’ll help make your vision a reality. We specialize in matching your interests with the specific needs of our students, faculty, and academic offerings. We appreciate gifts of time as well as money.

Division of University Advancement Mission Statement

In the Advancement Office at Worcester State University, we are deeply committed to promoting and supporting WSU’s mission of providing an accessible, high-quality education to our students. Our primary responsibility is to deliver a reliable stream of private funding to help fulfill this mission. We use the donations and grants we receive to create endowed student scholarships, underwrite student and faculty research and presentations at professional conferences, purchase state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, enhance curriculum development, and more.

Our goal is to build a culture of philanthropy, pride, and trust through meaningful engagement and communications that reflect the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and passion for Worcester State. We foster lasting relationships with alumni, foundations and corporations, students, and parents of students. We also produce Worcester State’s alumni magazine, The Statement, and the annual President’s Report.
