Chandler's Virtual 5K Run, Walk, Stroll

For the second year, WSU will be hosting a virtual 5K during Homecoming Weekend! You can support WSU students by grabbing your favorite pair of sneakers and hitting the road, track, or treadmill.

As you know our students have a rough 18 months. WE value our student's success and we know YOU do too! Supporting this virtual 5K will help our current Lancers with what they need to push forward and be successful. All proceeds will go directly to the Worcester State Fund.

Grab your favorite sneakers and hit the road, track, or treadmill to support WSU students. YOU get to choose when and where you run, walk or stroll the 3.1 miles.

Wherever you are in the world, join in on the virtual 5k fun!

How does a Virtual 5K work?

• Decide on when and where you would like to run your 3.1 miles. Bring a pet, friend, spouse, etc.
• Safety first! Pick a time and location that is best for you and your family. (5K= 3.1 miles)
• You can participate anytime on 9/18
• Tell your friends and family when and where you are running, walking, or strolling. They can cheer you on or join you!
• Winners in each category will get a WSU swag bag that includes a Yeti water bottle!   
• Use #WooState5K & #MadeInWorcester when posting pictures on social media.
• We would love to see your beautiful faces so if you can please snap a picture of you in your WSU bib and send it along with your time we would be so grateful! Submit your time and race photo!

Cost per registrant

• $5- Registration: race bib.
• $20- Registration: race bib, Water bottle, and a WSU T-shirt. (*Registrations with a t-shirt order must be submitted by September 6 in order for us to mail it to you in time. Shirt orders received after September 6 will be mailed out after the race).
